Ammoniac EP [2022] ::

“Here’s what I think… I think that when I look at this world, you know, I can see it, feel it, smell it and touch it, but you’ll never convince me, never in a million years that it’s real. No way”.
– Kakkab Nammax.

Kitsunetsuki Variations [2021] ::

Kitsune – despite possessing magical powers and superior intelligence it may take you 100 years to transform into human form. Zenko or Yako – possession is mandatory, shapeshifting using your paranormal abilities.

Five Augmented Locations [2014] ::

A collection of five pieces which were not originally planned as an album – this is more of a retrospective hoard. All are based on field recordings, sometimes using binaural or contact microphones, occasionally direct to an iPad and processed on the spot.

Atomism [2013] ::

Sadalsuud is found in Hindu texts as Kalpeny and in the context of the ancient Indian system of astronomy, Jyotisha Veda, is located in the 23rd Nakshatra Shravishthā, a lunar mansion which is ruled by Eight vasus – the ‘deities of earthly abundance’.

Metonymy [2010] ::

If you wish to study or scrutinize this further then you should first attempt to place yourself in my position. I usually wake up a few millimeters below the ground. That distance is, of course, as precise as I may fathom under the circumstances.

Tessellation [2008] ::

Chambers embedded into the walls of medieval churches in Denmark and Sweden served as Helmholts resonators, absorbing sound, particularly low frequency reverberation, in order to regulate the acoustics of the interior space.

The Paignton Anomaly [2008] ::

The first time that two original members of Kymatik had the chance to work together in over a decade.
The source recordings for this piece were first made in Devon, UK in November 2007 and processed separately by each of us in the UK and NL.

Buried Traktora [2007] ::

Buried Traktora is a composition inspired by the notion that matter is a conduit enabling consciousness to travel through time. Reincarnation, shape-shifting and pagan magik are related themes which guided the arrangements.

Distant Suns [1996] ::

Distant Suns is based on a series of compositions made on a Yamaha QY20 whilst traveling in India, Taiwan and Australia in 1993/4. The MIDI files were eventually loaded up into a Yamaha W7 Workstation in Bristol (UK) in 1995, then reworked and enhanced.
