Distant Suns is based on a series of compositions made on a Yamaha QY20 whilst traveling in India, Taiwan and Australia in 1993/4.

The MIDI files were eventually loaded up into a Yamaha W7 Workstation in Bristol (UK) in 1995, then reworked and enhanced.
